Greetings adventurers, rogues, and seekers of treasure and knowledge! I hope your week has been going well. My name is Jason, and I’m a relatively new D&D player. While I’ve played in a couple of games as a player, I’ve never taken on the role of Dungeon Master before. With that in mind, I’ve decided to begin my DM journey with the classic starter module, The Lost Mine of Phandelver. The game will be run on Roll20, but you’re welcome to use D&D Beyond for your character sheet if that’s easier or more convenient for you. I’ll also be setting up a private Discord server for the group, where I’ll share additional information, updates, and resources for the campaign. We will be using the 2014 5e rules, as I don’t yet have experience with the 2024 version. Additionally, there will be no homebrew content—I’d like to keep things within official published material for this campaign.
